RiverCityBank
Dear Mr. Erickson:
The corporate offices of River City Bank at 2485 Natomas Park Drive,
Sacramento have had your original pastel painting "Summer Respite"
(60" x 80") portraying the overlook to the American River at Old
Fair Oaks displayed in our lobby since we moved here in 1990. Because
River City Bank is a locally owned bank, we are pleased to display
local scenes around Sacramento and to support the art community
and local artists whenever possible.
We
have received some favorable comments about this painting and wish
you much success.
Sincerely,
James F. Birmingham,
Executive Vice President
Wilke,
Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney
Dear Mr. Erickson:
As you are aware, I am currently the managing partner of one of
Sacramento's oldest law firms. In the mid-1980's our firm decided
to make a positive statement about our roots in the Sacramento community
while at the same time presenting positive professional image. One
of our central goals was to demonstrate to our clients and guests
the historical connections that we have had with the Sacramento
Community and with the State Capitol. To that end, we acquired your
original artwork for one of our large conference rooms. That piece
was of the State Capitol. It continues to reflect the image that
we believe we have as an older established law firm whose professional
activities involve not only our city and county, but also our state.
Your
artwork remains the focal point of one of our conference rooms and
serves as a reminder of our position in a community that is the
capitol of the largest state in the nation. We appreciate your fine
work.
Very truly yours,
Scott L. Gassaway

Hodgson
& Straight
Dear Mr. Erickson:
At Hodgson & Straight, we are quite conscious of the significance
of presenting a positive image to the community and to our clientele;
an image which is attractive as well as professional. We are also
very aware of the importance of a pleasant working environment for
our staff and ourselves. Over the past several years, we have come
to you time and again when we wanted to improve the interior design
of, or to expand, our offices.
Your
original pastel paintings and prints of your work which we have
acquired for our personal offices, staff areas, and our conference
room have truly enhanced our working environments and are enjoyed
by the attorneys, the staff, and the clientele. As you are aware,
both Tim and I have also acquired original pastel paintings for
display in our homes.
We
look forward to working with you for our future art needs and to
acquiring additional pieces of your art work to enhance our offices
and our homes. Please accept this short note of thanks and appreciation.
Sincerely,
Catherine Ashley Straight
